Privacy policy

WonderClips ("we", "us") is run by Ajobaba Technologies Limited, a company in Abuja, Nigeria. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use WonderClips at https://wonderclips.app/, why we collect it, who we share it with and the choices you have. We follow the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.
The data we collect
- Account details: your name, email address and password (stored only as a secure hash). If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and Google account ID, and nothing else from your Google account.
- Brand details: your business name, country, tagline, logo, call to action and the platforms you post on.
- Products and photos: the product photos you upload, the details read from them (such as name, category, colours and materials) and the prices you enter.
- What you create: the photos and videos made for you, and the choices you make for each shoot, such as the look and the model you want.
- Support messages: what you write to us and any images you attach.
- Billing records: your plan, credit purchases and credit history. Payments are taken by our payment partner, Bachs. We never see or store your full card details.
- Technical data: your IP address, browser type and when you were last active, which we use to keep you signed in and to keep the service secure.
How we use your data
- To run your account and give you the service you asked for, including reading your product photos and creating photos and videos.
- To charge for plans and credits, and to refund credits automatically when something cannot be made.
- To answer support requests and send service emails, such as email confirmation, password resets and replies to your messages.
- To keep the service secure, stop abuse and fix problems.
We use your data because we need it to provide the service you signed up for, because we have a legitimate interest in keeping it safe and working, or because the law requires it. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.
How AI processing works
To create your photos and videos, we send your product photos, product details and shoot choices to AI models through OpenRouter, which passes them to model providers such as Anthropic, Google and ByteDance. They process this data to return results to us. Models in your photos are generated; they are not real people, and faces are never copied from reference photos. We do not use your photos or products to train AI models of our own.
Who we share data with
We share data only with the companies that help us run WonderClips, and only as much as each one needs:
- Laravel Cloud hosts the app and its database.
- Cloudflare protects and speeds up the site, stores your photos and videos, and checks that sign-ups come from people, not bots.
- OpenRouter and the AI model providers behind it process your photos to make new ones.
- Bachs takes payments and manages subscriptions.
- Google signs you in, if you choose to sign in with Google.
- Our email provider delivers service emails.
We may also share data when the law requires it, or to protect our users, the public or WonderClips from harm.
Some of these companies process data outside Nigeria, for example in the United States and the European Union. When that happens, we rely on their contractual and security commitments to protect your data.
Cookies and local storage
We use only the cookies the site needs to work: one that keeps you signed in, one that protects forms against forgery, a "remember me" cookie if you tick that box, and Cloudflare security cookies that tell people and bots apart. Your light or dark mode choice is saved in your browser. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.
How long we keep data
- Your account, brand, products and creations are kept while your account is open.
- When you delete a shoot, its photos and videos are deleted. Unfinished uploads are deleted within a day.
- You can delete your account in Settings. To have everything in your workspace erased as well, including products, photos and videos, email us and we will do it within 30 days.
- We keep billing records for as long as tax and accounting laws require.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of your personal data, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or limit how we use it, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw any consent you gave. To make a request, email wonderclipsapp@gmail.com. We will reply within 30 days. If you are not happy with our answer, you can complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
Security
We protect your data with encrypted connections, hashed passwords and access controls, and we limit who on our team can see it. No service can be completely secure, so please use a strong password and keep it to yourself.
Children
WonderClips is for businesses and is not meant for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Google user data
If you sign in with Google, we use your name, email address and Google account ID only to create your account and sign you in. Our use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as WonderClips changes. We will post the new version on this page and change the date at the top, and we will email you about important changes.
